Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Try Business Loan collects, uses, and shares information when you use trybusinessloan.com and request help finding business funding. Try Business Loan is not a lender and does not make credit decisions.
Who We Are
Try Business Loan is a brand operated by Try Business Loan LLC. In this Privacy Policy, “Try Business Loan,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Try Business Loan LLC and its Try Business Loan brand. We operate the website at trybusinessloan.com (the “Site”).
Effective July 16, 2026, Try Business Loan LLC operates this site, succeeding the site's prior operator. Previously collected intake and consent records are now held by Try Business Loan LLC, and this policy's commitments continue to apply to those records.
Try Business Loan is a first-party, US-based business-funding intake and referral website. We are not a lender, bank, underwriter, credit decision-maker, approval service, or funding provider. We do not approve or deny requests, set rates or terms, provide funding, negotiate financing, or give financial advice. With your consent, we may share your funding inquiry with independent funding partners that may contact you. We do not guarantee funding, an offer, particular rates or terms, partner routing, or contact from any partner.
Information We Collect Directly From You
When you use our intake form, we collect the information you provide and certain details about your submission. This includes your name, phone number, email address, business name, state, industry, funding amount requested, intended use of funds, urgency or timeline, time in business, revenue range, self-reported credit range, whether you currently have an active advance or loan, and your preferred contact method. We also record your submission timestamp, your consent status and consent record (including the IP address, browser and device information, referring page, and landing page captured when you submit, the consent language shown to you, and any Global Privacy Control signal), source metadata about how you reached the Site, and, where available, a Google Click Identifier (GCLID).
You choose what to share. If you leave out information we ask for, we may not be able to route your request effectively.
Information We Collect Automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our analytics and advertising-measurement providers may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location, and interactions with the Site, using cookies and similar technologies. We use Google Analytics 4 for analytics, and Google Ads conversion tracking for advertising measurement. See “Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising” below.
Information From Partner and Contact Forms
If you contact us or submit a funding-partner inquiry, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, company, email, website, the funding products and buy-box criteria you describe, and your message. We use this information to respond to you, evaluate and manage a potential partnership or your request, and communicate with you about it. This is separate from the business-owner intake described above.
Information We Do Not Collect (Current Stage)
At this stage, our intake form does not ask for your full Social Security number, date of birth, bank login credentials, bank statements, government-issued ID documents, tax returns, or full loan application documents. If this changes, we will update this Policy and ask for the information directly.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to organize and process your funding request; to contact you about it using your preferred method; with your consent, to share it with independent funding partners that may contact you; to operate, secure, and improve the Site; to measure the performance of our advertising; to respond to your questions; to send you service-related messages, including a status update by email if we are not able to identify a potential partner fit; and to comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Use.
Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, understand how visitors use it, measure our advertising, and improve our services. We group them into three categories:
- Essential: required for the Site to work. These are always on.
- Analytics: helps us understand how visitors use the Site. We use Google Analytics 4.
- Advertising and Measurement: helps us measure the performance of our ads. We use Google Ads conversion tracking, which relies on a Google Click Identifier (GCLID).
When you arrive from a Google Search ad, a GCLID may be captured as a hidden field and stored with your request. We use the GCLID and conversion data to measure which ads lead to submissions and, where available, later conversion milestones such as accepted or funded outcomes. We do not use behavioral retargeting or remarketing at launch, and we do not run a retargeting or remarketing pixel. We do not use Enhanced Conversions and do not upload hashed emails, phone numbers, or other user identifiers to Google.
We do not intentionally send sensitive information to advertising platforms. Specifically, we do not intentionally send your full Social Security number, bank login credentials, bank statements, government ID documents, tax returns, full loan documents, revenue range, self-reported credit range, requested funding amount, phone number, email address, owner name, or business name to advertising platforms.
We use a US opt-out model. Analytics and Advertising and Measurement technologies run by default, but you can opt out of either category on our Your Privacy Choices page. We do not fire non-essential cookies or tags where prior opt-in consent is required by law, and where required by law we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies.
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. When we detect an active GPC signal, we suppress the Advertising and Measurement category for the browser or device sending the signal. GPC does not turn off general analytics; to opt out of Analytics, use the controls on our Your Privacy Choices page. You can also usually control cookies through your browser settings.
When We May Share Your Information
We may share your information with: independent funding partners, with your consent (see below); service providers that help us run the Site, such as hosting, data storage, email and alert delivery, analytics, and advertising-measurement providers (including Google); others when required by law or to protect rights and safety; and a successor in a business transfer such as a merger, financing, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your information to unrelated third parties for their own general advertising. With your consent, we share your funding inquiry with one independent funding partner per request, and we may be compensated for referrals, accepted leads, or funded transactions. Some state laws may treat this sharing, or our use of advertising and measurement technologies, as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising. See “Your State Privacy Rights” and “Your Privacy Choices.”
Funding Partner Sharing
Funding partners are independent third parties. Every partner that may receive forwarded requests is listed on our Participating Partners page before it receives any request. With your consent, we forward your inquiry to one partner per request, selected because its stated criteria appear to align with the information you provide. Each partner handles your information under its own privacy policy and is responsible for its own review, communications, offers, disclosures, and legal compliance. Based on the consent you give at submission, the partner may contact you about your request by email or a phone call made by a person; automated calls or texts happen only if you also checked the separate optional consent box. The partner may share your request with its funding sources solely to evaluate, provide, or service business funding, and a funding source may contact you only as covered by your consent or with your separate authorization. A partner may ask you for more information. We may be compensated when we share your inquiry, when a partner accepts your lead, or when a partner funds you. We do not control any partner’s decisions, and funding is never guaranteed.
Service Providers
When you submit the intake form, your information may be sent through an automated connection (a “webhook”) into a spreadsheet and an email alert so our team can review and route it. Where service providers process information for us, they are authorized to use your information only to perform services for us and must protect it according to their obligations to us. Analytics and advertising-measurement providers may also process information as described in “Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising.”
Data Retention
We keep information only as long as we reasonably need it. We retain intake submissions for up to 24 months after submission or last activity. We retain consent and partner-routing records for up to 4 years. We retain minimal opt-out and suppression information for as long as needed to honor opt-out requests. When information is no longer needed, we delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Opt-Out
You can decline to submit the intake form. You may revoke consent to further contact by emailing privacy@trybusinessloan.com or contacting the sender directly. You may also reply “STOP” to texts, use the unsubscribe link in emails, or tell a caller to stop. We relay revocations to the selected partner within two business days, and our partner agreements require the selected partner and its funding sources to honor them. Revocation is prospective and does not undo sharing that already occurred. On request, we will also add you to our internal do-not-contact (suppression) list so we do not contact you or transmit a request that has not already been forwarded, unless you later submit a new request and authorize that contact and sharing. You can opt out of Analytics and of Advertising and Measurement on our Your Privacy Choices page, and we honor the Global Privacy Control signal as described above. To make a privacy request, email privacy@trybusinessloan.com.
Accessing, Correcting, or Deleting Your Information
You may ask us to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email privacy@trybusinessloan.com and include the email address and phone number used in your request so we can locate your information. We may verify your identity first and will respond within the time required by applicable law. We may be unable to delete information already shared with a funding partner; you may need to contact that partner directly.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Your State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and whether certain legal thresholds are met, you may have rights under state privacy laws, including rights to know, access, delete, correct, or opt out of certain uses or disclosures of personal information.
Because we may share your funding inquiry with independent funding partners and may be compensated, some state laws may treat that as a “sale” or “sharing.” Our use of advertising and measurement technologies may also be treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some state laws.
To exercise any available rights, email privacy@trybusinessloan.com or use the Your Privacy Choices link on our Site. Where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising for the browser or device sending the signal. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
U.S. Focus
The Site and our services are intended for businesses and users located in the United States.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy and will revise the “Last Updated” date above. Material changes will be noticed where required by law. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
