Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 31, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Try Business Loan collects, uses, and shares information when you use trybusinessloan.com and request help finding business funding. Try Business Loan is not a lender and does not make credit decisions.
Who We Are
Try Business Loan (“Try Business Loan,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates trybusinessloan.com (the “Site”). Try Business Loan is a business-funding intake and referral website. We are not a lender, bank, underwriter, credit decision-maker, approval service, or funding provider. We do not approve or deny requests, set rates or terms, provide funding, or negotiate financing on your behalf.
With your consent, we may share your request with independent business funding partners that may contact you. We do not guarantee funding, an offer, particular rates or terms, or contact from any partner.
Information We Collect Directly From You
When you use our intake form, we ask about you and your business so we can organize your request and route it to potential funding partners. This may include your name, phone number, email address, business name, state, industry, funding amount requested, intended use of funds, funding urgency or timeline, time in business, revenue range, self-reported credit range, whether you currently have an active advance or loan, and your preferred contact method.
You choose what to share. If you leave out information we ask for, we may not be able to route your request effectively.
Information We Collect Automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring website, and the dates and times of your visits, using cookies and similar technologies. We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used.
Information We Do Not Collect At This Stage
At this stage, our intake form does not ask for your full Social Security number, date of birth, bank login credentials, bank statements, government-issued ID documents, tax returns, or full loan application documents. If this changes, we will update this Policy and ask for the information directly.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to organize and process your funding request; contact you about your request; route and share your request with funding partners with your consent; operate, secure, and improve the Site; respond to questions; send service-related messages; comply with law; and enforce our Terms of Use.
When We May Share Your Information
We may share your information with funding partners, with your consent; service providers that help us run the Site; legal or safety authorities where required or appropriate; and parties involved in a business transfer such as a merger, financing, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your information to unrelated third parties for their own general advertising. With your consent, we share your request with independent business funding partners in connection with your funding inquiry, and we may be compensated for referrals, accepted inquiries, or funded transactions. Some state laws may treat this sharing as a “sale” or “sharing.” See Your State Privacy Rights below.
Funding Partner Sharing
Funding partners are independent third parties. After we share your request with your consent, each partner handles your information under its own privacy policy and is responsible for its own communications, reviews, offers, disclosures, and legal compliance. A partner may contact you by phone, text, or email and may ask for more information. We may be compensated when we share your request or when a partner funds you. We do not control any partner’s decisions, and funding is never guaranteed.
Service Providers
When you submit the intake form, your information may be sent through an automated connection, such as a webhook, into a spreadsheet and email alert so our team can review and route it. Where companies act as our service providers, they are authorized to use your information only to perform services for us and must protect it according to their obligations to us.
Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, understand how the Site is used, measure performance, and improve it. We use Google Analytics, which may set its own cookies.
We may also use advertising cookies, conversion tags, pixels, and similar technologies, including tools from Google, to measure advertising performance, understand how visitors interact with the Site, create advertising audiences, and show ads to visitors on other websites or platforms. Some state privacy laws may treat these activities as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising.
We do not intentionally send full Social Security numbers, bank login credentials, bank statements, government ID documents, tax returns, or full loan documents to advertising platforms. You can usually control cookies through your browser settings. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies.
Data Retention
We keep information only as long as we reasonably need it. We generally retain intake submissions for up to 24 months after submission or last activity. We may retain certain records longer where needed for legal, security, dispute-resolution, accounting, compliance, consent-record, or opt-out purposes. For example, we may retain consent records and partner-routing records for up to 4 years, and we may retain minimal opt-out information for as long as needed to honor opt-out requests. When information is no longer needed, we delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Opt-Out
You can decline to submit the intake form. You can ask a funding partner directly to stop contacting you by replying “STOP” to texts, unsubscribing from emails, or asking to be placed on a do-not-call list. Because partners are independent, you may need to do this with each partner.
You can also opt out of our messages, and on request we will add you to our internal do-not-contact list so we do not route your information to additional partners going forward.
Accessing, Correcting, or Deleting Your Information
You may ask us to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email hello@trybusinessloan.com and include the email address and phone number used in your request so we can locate your information. We may verify your identity first and will respond within the time required by applicable law. We may be unable to delete information already shared with a funding partner; you may need to contact that partner directly.
Your State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and whether certain legal thresholds are met, you may have rights under state privacy laws, including rights to know, access, delete, correct, or opt out of certain uses or disclosures of personal information.
Because we may share your request with funding partners and may be compensated, some state laws may treat that as a “sale” or “sharing.” Our use of advertising pixels, retargeting tools, or similar technologies may also be treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some state laws.
To exercise any available rights, email hello@trybusinessloan.com or use the Your Privacy Choices link on our Site. Where required by law, we will honor recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, for the browser or device sending the signal. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
U.S. Focus
The Site is intended for businesses and users located in the United States.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy and will revise the “Last Updated” date above. Material changes will be noticed where required by law. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
